  • For those who desire true wilderness Bear Viewing, Kodiak Adventures Lodge is the place for you with the most intense population of these magnificent brown bears found anywhere on the island.
  • When is the best time ? June brings many bears grazing on the lower altitude hillsides and flats along the shoreline and makes for great photo opportunities.
  • July finds many Bears at Higher altitudes feeding on Berries and roaming from the Berry patches to the nearby streams.

August brings the Salmon. and of course the hunger for fish will find Bears feeding along the many streams near the Lodge, consequently Bear activity increases thru August, and September.

Bear looking On View them in their natural habitat, watch them fish, play, and interact with each other. This is true wilderness Bear Viewing without a lot of people around. Our approach towards Bear Viewing can be wide and varied, offering you a whole new dimension and experience.

Upon arriving back at the Lodge in the evening you will enjoy the many appetizers provided for your enjoyment "Including fresh caught Crab!"

Every Effort has went into preserving a family atmosphere at Larry's Kodiak Lodge, with personal service a top priority.

The newly rebuilt Lodge has all the comforts of home, complete with Center Fireplace - Pool Table  Dart Board - Card Playing Table, etc.
 
  Lodge
Our four, roomy, and comfortable guest rooms, each come with their own heat, hot and cold running water, flushing toilets, and private room, additionally furnished with two twins, and one double bed.

  • Couples will find our guest room accommodations very private, and cozy.
  • We are equipped to handle up to 12 clients at a time, with plenty of space for all.
